I've been playing, coaching, and watching for over 35 years.
College, semi-pro, high school, and club.
Coached for 23 years
I have coached about 800 games
When I started watching soccer there was no MLS, there were commercials in the middle of the game, and you still could pass the ball back to goalie and have him/her pick it up.
In the early 90s, I could only watch only one game a month
After World Cup '94, I got to watch some EPL, Champions League, and USMNT & USWNT.
When I got Digital Cable was a game changer. Fox Soccer Channel had so many games. I could watch soccer almost 24 hours a day. At this point I was watching 7 games a week.
Now Espn+ and the other streaming apps have made it so easy to watch soccer.
